  • During the Winter Semester 2011/12 on Wednesdays from 6 p.m to 8 p.m. a lecture series "Aktuelle Arbeitsfelder der Ethnologie und Kulturanthropologie" takes place at the University of Bonn (HS IV, Main building). More Informations and Program
  • In August 2011 a Memorandum of Unterstanding was signed in Ecuador with the Department of History of the Universidad Andina de Simón Bolívar, Quito (UASB).
  • Recently, within the framework of the cooperation between the Centro de Investigaciones y Estudios Superiores en Antropología Social (CIESAS)-Guadalajara and the Research Network for Latin America, online confereces have been realized. On May 30th about “Migración”, on June 06 about “Nación, estado y cuidadanía” and on July 4th about “Etnicidad y desigualdad”.  These conferences were held to have an exchange of current results of investigation. There are three subsequent conferences planned to be realized. On August 18th about “Migración” and on September 5th about “Etnicidad y desigualdad”. The second conference about “Nación, estado y ciudadanía” will take place in the second half of August.

  • In cooperation with the Professional Center, the LFZL and the Anglo-American Department of the University of Cologne, the Research Network is organizing a ring lecture for the summer semester 2011.

  • Since December 14th, 2010 exists a Memorandum of Understanding with the Facultad de Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales Sede Ecuador.
  • During the fist international symposium in Bonn the Red de Cultura y Identidad (REDCI) and the Research Network for Latinamerica signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
